RACING DOG SLEDS

I am thrilled to be leaving Sled Dog Systems in such capable hands.  Over the years, before each sled shipped I’d sit back and imagine all the miles of trails the sled was destined to see – trails I probably will not have the opportunity to experience myself.  I take great pride in the joy that these sleds have brought to so many mushers pursuing their dreams.  With the memory of each sled made I will carry a small part of each musher’s journey.  Each personal victory in which one of my sleds played a part is a vicarious victory for me.

I can’t thank our Sponsored Mushers and customers enough.  Jen and I have made many lifelong friends through the sleds and have had many experiences that we’ll remember for a lifetime.

Our journey in Mushing is not over, rather starting a new trail.  Jen and I will continue to race, promote the sport when possible, and continue the development of the Canine Physiological Monitoring systems.  We plan to launch a new company in the future focused solely on monitoring systems for Vet and athletic training use.

By the way, the “K” in the sled model names is for Kayla, the first dog I ever owned.  She was an Alaskan Malamute who’s incorrigible nature got me involved in Mushing to begin with.  It is because of Kayla that I met my wife Jen and that these sleds came to be.
